WSI Digital Marketing is looking to hire a talented summer student in the field of digital marketing and communications. Our West Island team is looking for a detail-oriented, bilingual,  AI-savvy student that is currently studying marketing or communications, has experience creating content, knowledgeable with a variety of AI tools and is interested in working with a dynamic team of marketers to gain experience and contribute to the success of our clients’ marketing campaigns.

Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with our marketing team to support our clients’ digital marketing initiatives.
  • Create engaging text for blogs or Web content, including visuals, graphics and video content, in both French and English.
  • Assist with the coordinate ongoing projects.
  • Assist with the creation of digital marketing assets for clients.
  • Create content and manage our clients’ social media accounts.
  • Integrate new content or assets into WordPress sites as required.
  • Create and execute email marketing campaigns.
  • Create and optimize online profiles for our clients.
  • Work with our client services team to communicate with clients as required.
  • Communicate with our team via our virtual platforms including a project management system, our virtual meeting platforms and work in our CRM.
  • Participate in our weekly team meetings to review status of ongoing client mandates.

Requirements

  • Ability to write creative copy and create visuals and graphics
  • Proficiency in English and French preferred, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of a variety of AI tools is a definite asset
  • Working knowledge of Canva, Word, Excel, Google Docs
  • PowerPoint and Photoshop an asset
  • Experience in social media an asset
  • Experience with WordPress and email marketing tools an asset

Additional Info

Schedule: 37.50 hrs/week
Salary: $20/hr
Location: Located in Pointe Claire, with many public transport options.
